This Moisture Complex is specifically designed to increase moisture in dry and damaged hair.

  • From Heat (blow drying, curling irons, hot rollers, the sun)
  • From Chemicals (coloring, bleaching, relaxers)

Humectants are important to the hair as they attract moisture from the atmosphere and help to retain that moisture in the hair. "Dry hair is brittle, rough, has a tendency to tangle, and has hardly any luster. Humidity of the atmosphere is the only source of moisture to hair, except shampooing, and addition of humectants to the hair will therefore facilitate its retention of water."(1)

Instead of using 1 specific ingredient, this complex uses a spectrum of cosmetic additives and produces a more regulated approach to hair moisturization. This helps to prevent too much humectancy and eliminate curl droop.
